Trippin’ on two wheels part 1
I have been logging the miles this summer on old blue. July 2nd I went up to visit my buddy in North Conway NH. It all started off well enough after just getting back from two weeks in Atlanta. I decided, “why not” and off I went for what was to be quite the ride. I realized at the gas station that the rear brake light wasn’t working…. Well, it worked with the hand brake but not with the foot brake. Yup, the damn switch had failed again. My 4th one in three years. That aside I continued on my route avoiding Boston like the plague while keeping mindful that I needed to not get lazy and not use the hand brake when slowing down for fear of getting rear ended if nothing else. I was making great time.
That all changed when I got about 20 miles from the New Hampshire border. 98 degrees, gridlock, full gear on, sweating my balls off. I did the right thing for about 45 minutes meandering along stuck between first and second gear most of the time. The normally 3.5 hour trip took me over 5 hours. When I arrived I was greeted by two nice people who’s names I forgot who offered me a beer. I guess I must have looked pretty sun baked by the point. Well 20 minutes and two tall boys later my friends showed up at their apartment and I was able to get in out of the sun for a bit……. (Part 2)

I really want to accept that its safe to listen to you. I just read the preliminary report about the inquiry into why people were infected with hepatitis C and HIV from contaminated blood and blood products. Hundreds of people in Scotland, including haemophilia sufferers and other patients, were given contaminated blood in the over a period of about 20 years. Which is completely beyond belief. I found this site on treating hemorrhoids and everything looks to be true.
